Key Passage: 2 Cor 9: 6-15
Key Text: 2 Cor 9:8 – And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
Living in abundance to some is a myth. It is like something that can never be attained. They go from pay cheque to pay cheque. The money they earn is never enough. They live in the land of not enough. I know this land and have dwelt there in the past. Thank God that God has another land for us to dwell in, the land of ‘more than enough’.
To move from the land of not enough to the land of more than enough, you have to receive this special grace of God. God’s unmerited favour and help. This scripture has sustained me over the last two years and I can testify that God’s word is true. He never lies.
Let us analyse this powerful promise. God said He is able to make All Grace, abound (Overflow) toward you, that you always (not sometimes) having all sufficiency in all things may have an abundance for every good work!
The Amplified bible states it like this: And God is able to make all grace (every favor and [c]earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need [d]be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation].
In layman’s term, this simply means that God will make His grace overflow towards you, so that you will always have more than enough to meet your needs and a lot left over, so that you will have abundant resources to meet the needs of others also. Now that is abundant grace.
This grace is so needed in many lives today. We need God to visit us with His All grace, so we can move out of barely enough, to much more than enough. God desires us to be a blessing and this is one way to become such a blessing, by receiving the grace of God for abundance. Believe God today for abundance!
Abundance is yours in Christ Jesus. Jesus said in John10: 10 – I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
Let us Pray: Father thank you, that today I believe and confess that you are able to make all grace abound towards me (Your name), so that I will always have all sufficiency at all times and in all things and I will have an abundance for every good work. I thank you that I have relocated by your grace from the land of not enough to the land of MORE THAN ENOUGH! In Jesus name I have prayed. Amen.
